Fruit Ferment Juice

This is a fantastic organic fertilizer, the recipe for which was given to me by Mr. Essa Al Daboos of Kaber farms. He is a big proponent of organic and natural methods of farming and very graciously gave me this recipe. It worked wonders with my tomatoes in particular and I had a fantastic crop, both in terms of quality and quantity. He kindly gave me permission to share this with everyone. I use it regularly and even with the 48-degree heat in summer it does no damage to the plants but gently supports them. In summer, I apply only to the soil but in winter, I use it once a week as a foliar spray.

Ingredients:

1 kg Banana fruit.

1 kg Papaya.

1 kg Pumpkin or Squash. (You can use beetroot here to increase iron content)

3 kg molasses. ( You can use jaggery instead here)

60 ml EMAS ( You can use Bioenzyme or Lactobacillus here instead)

Production procedure:

Clean and wash the fruits.

Drain for 5 minutes.

Slice the fruits into small pieces.
Mix EMAS & Molasses with fruits in plastic pail 20-liter capacity.

Put a plastic screen on top of the mixture and on top of it 5 pieces of 50 grams stone.
Wipe and clean the mouth of the plastic pail.

Cover tightly and ferment anaerobically for 8 to 10 days.

Extract the liquid and keep it in a plastic container.

Remember NO water to be added.

Usage:
For plants:

As a natural Potassium source for heavier yield encourages fruiting and sweeter fruits.
Dosage:
20 ml per litre of water for spraying into plant leaves, trunk, and root system once or twice a week.

You can substitute the fruits for 3 kg of beetroot if you need natural iron or substitute the pumpkin for 1 kg beetroot instead.

In summer I use it once in fifteen days but once during the season I use it once a week.
